Roman Candle just finished their Nashville residency with Thad Cockrell and Dawn Kinnard. On the last week of their residency, they were reviewed, featured, and/or "critic's picks" in all four Nashville papers: Tennessean, The Scene, All the Rage, and City Paper

Roman Candle was recently a featured artist on myspace.com and received over 200,000 plays in six days. (7-10-06)

The band is in the studio with Chris Stamey and Thad Cockrell, recording a song for the dB's & Friends Christmas record - out this December. The album will feature tracks from Big Star, Whiskeytown, and others.(7-03-06)

Roman Candle will be playing live on BBC2 Feb. 10. The band will be performing on Bob Harris's Saturday program (23:30 UK and 6:30pm eastern U.S.)

U.K. Shows Annonced: The band will be making it's "full band" U.K. debut in early february with 3 shows in London.
In other news, the BBC2 has recently been playing Winterlight on Bob Harris's programmes.
